I made the 21 Day Meal Plan the way it is because I get overwhelmed easily. I needed something with definite, clear rules and with enough variety that I wouldn’t get bored but not so much variety that I wouldn’t know where to start.

My weight gain started after I had my kids. I was diagnosed with post-partum depression and started to take anti-depressants. They made me so hungry, I would eat all the time and was too tired and too depressed to exercise. I struggled with that losing battle for about 4 years and in that time managed to become 311 lbs.
In December of 2018, I decided to stop drinking soda and lost a couple of pounds. Excited about that, I decided to start to watch what I ate but still wasn’t following any type of plan.
In February my dad got into a terrible car accident and couldn’t walk for a month. I told him for every day he tried to walk, I would go to the gym. So, he did and I did. After working out, I didn’t want to go home and eat junk or be clueless about what I was ingesting, so I started to look at different diets and plans online and they were all unrealistic… Until I found the 21 Day Meal Plan on Instagram.
I realized I’m a girl who needs it all put right in front of me, and when I saw that this plan told me what to buy at the store I was hooked. This plan was not only possible but easy to follow!
The thing I was really missing from my healthy lifestyle was a plan and the 21 Day Meal Plan gave me the tools I needed to get me on track. I love that it’s not called a “diet” because diets are temporary.
After about a month on the plan, I was down 15 lbs. After that, I knew I could do it!
So, 7 months later and I’m down 77 lbs. I went from 311 lbs to 234 lbs and I’m still going. For me, it’s not so much what I look like but how I feel. I feel like I can conquer anything now. There’s a quote that says “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail,” and when it comes to healthy lifestyle choices, that couldn’t be more true.
