When I created the 21 Day Meal Plan™, the goal was simply to help others achieve what I had achieved. Seeing my Meal Plan Babes™ crush their goals is what I live for—your success matters SO much to me!
Reading this email made me so happy and so proud. With the writer’s permission, I’d like to share Maya’s success story with all of you:
Let me start off by saying thank you for changing my life. You really don’t know how much this plan has affected not only my physical health but my mental health as well.
So here is a little information about me and my weight loss journey:
My name is Maya and I am 22 years old and 5’10”. Throughout my whole life, I have always been athletic. I played volleyball, basketball, and track. (I was pretty darn good at them too.) I was always in great shape! In high school, during my freshman and sophomore year, my puberty weight finally started to come off, and once I hit my junior/senior year I was at my lowest weight at 185/190 lbs.
I played college volleyball for my first 2 years of college but ended up transferring schools in 2016 as well as getting a full-time job. This obviously meant that my sports career was coming to an end. This honestly made me go into a depressive stage because sports were my life and I have never missed a week throughout my life without playing a sport, but at this point I had no choice. Fast forward to a year later—I had gone from 190 lbs to 245 lbs. 5 months after that, I had put on another 28 lbs weighing in at a whopping 273 lbs. Writing this, I am holding back tears because I don’t know how I let myself get to that point. I ended up developing high blood pressure at 21 years old, I got tired climbing 1 flight of stairs, I hated my body and did not know my self-worth. At this point, I was defeated. I battled with depression because I thought there was no way in hell I would lose any of the weight. I had let myself go too far.
I also thought to myself, “I wonder what I would look like if I never participated in any sports and ate the same way I’m eating now,” and now I know.
In September of 2018, I stumbled upon one of our fellow Meal Plan Babe’s IG accounts, found the plan, and bought it almost immediately. I obviously was a bit timid because I’ve had so many different weight loss programs contacting me, but it only seemed like they wanted my money. This plan was different and felt REAL.
So, here I am today!
Turning 23 years old on the 6th of February, I’ve had normal blood pressure for close to 8 months now, get tired after 7 flights of stairs (which I think is normal, lol), and I am learning to love myself again.
I am currently 247 lbs—that’s 26 lbs down after starting in October!
I am beyond grateful for this plan, Tiffany, and all my Meal Plan Babes™ and supporters. #foreverblessed
