Ingredients:
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1 banana, frozen
- 1 cup mixed berries
- 1 date, pitted
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter or almond butter
- 1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- Toppings: fresh berries, granola, chia seeds, coconut flakes
Instructions:
- In a blender, combine the avocado, frozen banana, mixed berries, date, peanut butter, almond milk, honey, cinnamon and chia seeds.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender.
- Pour smoothie into a bowl.
- Top with your favorite toppings.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
