Cayla lost 51 pounds with the @21daymealplan!

Your stories are so inspiring to me—you don’t even know! When I first started the 21 Day Meal Plan, I never imagined it would become what it has. I’m so grateful that I can help others do what I’ve done, and reading your successes makes me so happy and proud!

Cayla was kind enough to share her story with us and it’s such an incredible one! Read on for her experience in her own words:

My name is Cayla! I am 28, a wife, and a mommy to a crazy sweet two-year-old boy.

I struggled with my weight my entire life. I started feeling self-conscious of my weight as early as 10 years old and did my first “diet” at 13. In high school, I maintained my weight at 145 lbs because I was a competitive cheerleader. After high school, my highest recorded weight was 183 lbs. Through starvation and over-exercising, I got down to 155 lbs and maintained until I met my husband, got married, and became pregnant with our honeymoon baby!

When I checked into the hospital to give birth, I weighed in at 233 lbs! I lost 30 lbs naturally over the course of a few months and held on to the rest for 19 months. I remember feeling so unhappy and tired all the time! I never wanted to take pictures with my family because I was ashamed of how I looked. I avoided going to events because I was embarrassed and ashamed. June 10th of 2018 my husband asked me to pose for a picture for his gun holster business. When I saw the picture, my heart sank into my stomach…. I did not recognize myself anymore!

I decided then and there that I was done being unhappy. I was done with not having any energy! I had purchased the 21 Day Meal Plan in January but never fully committed until that day—June 11th, 2018. I weighed in at 195 that morning and committed myself 110%. In the first 21 days I lost 18 lbs! 

This plan has taught me that I don’t have to starve to lose weight. I’ve learned that reading nutrition labels is so important and just because you think something is “healthy” doesn’t mean that it is. I have continued to live the meal plan as my lifestyle for the past 9 months and am happily weighing 145 lbs today! 88 pounds down total and 50 pounds down thanks to Tiffany, the 21 Day Meal Plan, and all of the Meal Plan Babes™ supporting me along the way! I am forever grateful. <3
