The Viral Cream of Rice Breakfast I Eat Every Morning

If you’ve seen me posting my breakfast lately… yes, it’s the cream of rice bowl. 😂
As someone who struggles with blood sugar crashes and reactive hunger, I’ve realized I do best when I start my day with a combination of:
- easy-to-digest carbs
- protein
- volume
- fiber
This breakfast checks every single box for me.
And the best part? It takes less than 5 minutes.
My Daily Cream of Rice Breakfast
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cream of rice
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup frozen wild blueberries
- 1 scoop My Adventure to Fit Chocolate Brownie Batter Beef Isolate Protein (24g protein) OR marshmallow collagen with 3/4 cup egg whites

How I Make It
Microwave Method
- Add cream of rice and water to a bowl.
- Microwave for 3–4 minutes, stirring halfway if needed.
- Once thick and creamy, stir in the frozen wild blueberries.
- Add one scoop of Chocolate Brownie Batter protein into a small cup with a splash of water and mix until smooth.
That’s it.
You end up with a HUGE bowl of food that feels incredibly satisfying for relatively low calories.
Why I Love This Breakfast
1. The Volume Is Insane
The frozen blueberries make this bowl HUGE.
The berries cool the cream of rice down while adding natural sweetness, fiber, and so much volume that it feels like you’re eating way more than you actually are.
If you’re someone who likes large, satisfying meals, this is honestly elite.
2. It Actually Keeps Me Full
A lot of breakfasts leave me hungry an hour later.
But the combination of:
- warm carbs
- protein
- fiber
- volume
helps keep me satisfied for much longer.
The added protein also helps balance the carbs much better for me personally.
3. It Tastes Like Dessert
The chocolate protein mixed with warm blueberries gives serious brownie + blueberry cobbler vibes.
It genuinely feels comforting and indulgent while still helping me hit my protein goals.
4. It’s Easy on My Stomach
One thing I personally love about cream of rice is how simple and easy it feels to digest.
Some breakfasts feel heavy first thing in the morning. This doesn’t.
It’s warm, smooth, quick to make, and just feels good.
My Favorite Protein for This
I use our Chocolate Brownie Batter Beef Isolate Protein because:
- 24g protein per scoop
- dairy-free
- zero sugar
- smooth texture
- actually tastes good mixed into hot foods
It gives the bowl a rich brownie batter flavor without making it gritty or chalky.
Optional Add-Ins
You can also add:
- cinnamon
- chia seeds
- collagen
- almond butter
- sliced bananas
- cacao nibs
- coconut flakes
But honestly? The blueberry + chocolate combo is still my favorite.
This breakfast has become part of my daily routine because it’s:
- fast
- filling
- comforting
- protein-packed
- realistic for busy mornings
And if you’ve been seeing my cream of rice bowls all over social media… now you know exactly how I make them. 💙
